President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed
shock over the demise of one of his
ministers, James Ocholi.
The late minister of state for labour and
productivity, who also lost his wife and son
in a fatal accident on Sunday , March 6, 2016,
was described by the president as one of
the agents of his change agenda.

While conveying President Buhari’s
condolence to the family and the people of
Kogi state, the Secretary General to the
Federation (SGF), Bachir Lawal, noted that it
was an unfortunate incident.
Naij.com’s correspondent on ground reports
that the SGF noted that the Federal
Executive Council (FEC) was still in shock
with the incident and are presently mourning
their colleague who just passed away.
In the same vein, the senior special
assistant to the president on media and
publicity, Shehu Garba, while speaking on
behalf of the president, noted that the late
Ocholi was a key component of President
Buhari’s change agenda.

He said: “Barrister Ocholi was an
accomplished and patriotic Nigerian, who was
keen to accept the call to service at a time his
country needed him. ”
Meanwhile, Naij.com has gathered that the
body of the late minister has arrived the
mortuary in the National hospital, Abuja with
many sympathisers wailing over the sad
news.
Journalists were also barred from taking
pictures from the scene as everybody was
still trying to get over the shock of the
sudden incident.
